Ms. Naita Bona Tukondjeni Nghishekwa holds a BHon. Pharmacy Degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (South Africa) as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Western Cape (South Africa). As a registered Pharmacist with the Health Professions Council of Namibia, Ms Nghishekwa has eleven years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has had the privilege of serving in both the public and private health sector.

She has experience in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Medicine Policies, Global Health, Health Education, as well as experience in the procurement of pharmaceuticals and related health commodities for communicable diseases.

Her career highlights include her current position as President of the Namibia Pharmacy council her also current position as the Chief Pharmacist heading the National Medicines Policy Coordination Unit of the Namibia Ministry of Health and Social Services. She also has 7 years of experience as owner and managing director of a community pharmacy in Windhoek, Namibia as well as 3 years of experience in the field of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Management working for an international Donor Agency.
