Katyna BOUSSAMBA is a 25-year old post-graduate student at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), originating from Gabon (Central Africa). She arrived in South Africa in 2012 to further her studies after completing high school. After a year of English proficiency studies and 2 years in biotechnology, she started her studies in Pharmacy in 2015, joining the BPharm program at TUT, among the 40 students selected to be part of the first independent BPharm program of TUT. She successfully completed undergrad studies in November 2018 and graduated in May 2019. She speaks both English and French fluently, and is currently studying towards her Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Phytomedicine under the supervision of Professor Alvaro Viljoen.
